The taboo of menstruation in India, especially in villages lead to the development of unhygienic habits.  The use of uncleaned clothes, pillow covers, bedsheets to absorb the menstrual blood can cause severe effects on health. The trauma of the natural bodily function creates a massive impact on physical and mental health.

Sabuj Pran has taken an oath to provide 5000 “Women Hygiene Kits” within 2021-22 to the underprivileged women around Jangalmahal in West Bengal.

The Kit consists of :

1. Sanitary Napkins
2. Soap
3. Brush and Toothpaste
4. Nail cutter.
5. Other health items
